Brittany Lougin

Meet Brittany Lougin!

Brittany is a Paralegal with Anene Farrey & Associates, LLC. She has 6 years of legal experience and 13 years of customer service experience. She began her legal career in 2015 working as a Paralegal for a busy family law firm in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Thereafter, Brittany worked as a Paralegal for the Cumberland County School Board in North Carolina. Once she relocated to the metro Atlanta area, she learned the ropes of Georgia family law and sharpened her skills working as the sole Paralegal for a budding family law firm.

Brittany’s legal experience ranges from drafting pleadings and conducting legal research to managing client’s cases and assisting attorneys.  From working high conflict custody battles to high asset divorces, Brittany is involved in the litigation process from beginning to end.  She plays an integral role in helping clients win their cases as she analyzes evidence to help develop a personalized case plan for clients; manages the discovery process; drafts legal documents; issues subpoenas; prepares court orders, child support worksheets, settlement agreements, and parenting plans; and assists attorneys in preparing clients for mediation, depositions and trial.

Brittany holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Fayetteville State University. She loves the legal field because of the intellectual challenge it provides. Working in the area of family law allows Brittany to help clients see brighter days ahead during a very difficult and dark time in their life. With aspirations of becoming an Attorney, she is currently studying to take the law school admissions test (LSAT) so that she can not only advocate for clients outside the courtroom, but also fight for clients inside the courtroom.

With a warm and inviting spirit, people describe Brittany as an all-around joy. During her down time, she enjoys spending time with her children and teaching them the value of family and friendships. Brittany also loves to write and sing. She hopes to one day write a memoir that she can share with the world.
