FATHER’S RIGHTS:
Mother filed for modification of custody against Father seeking to terminate custody based on false allegations of child abuse. We represented the Father and counter-claimed for sole custody of the child. After presenting expert testimony and key witnesses, the court awarded Father sole custody of his daughter and eliminated the Father’s child support obligation.

Husband filed divorce against Wife after twelve years of marriage. We represented the Husband and after a trial, the court awarded our client the marital home and allowed him to keep 100% of his pension benefits.

Our client was placed on child support after failing to receive proper notice from the court. We were able to file papers with the court to have the child support order reversed and child support services reimbursed my client for the child support payments that were collected against him.

We represented our client in his legitimation action. The mother sought sole custody of the child on claims that the father was not involved in the child’s life. We were able to prove that the Mother was merely a heart-broken and spiteful ex-girlfriend with ulterior motives. The court awarded our client joint custody of his child, granted his request to change his child’s last name to the client’s last name, and awarded him very liberal visitation rights.

We represented our client in a contempt action that his ex filed against him for failure to timely pay child support payments. Our client had previously been held in contempt for child support payments when he represented himself. After hiring Anene & Associates, we were able to convince the same Judge that his failure to pay child support was not intentional nor willful. The Judge agreed and dismissed the case, although the client had over thousands of dollars in arrears.

We represented a father who lived out of state, but filed a contempt action against his ex-wife who lived in Georgia. The ex-wife had withheld the children from our client for 2 years and skipped town with no trace. Our skilled investigative team was able to locate the mother and serve her with the contempt papers. After going to court, the Judge found in favor of our client, found the ex-wife in contempt, and ordered her to pay our client’s attorney’s fees.

We represented a father in a contempt action, where his ex-wife sought to incarcerate him for his failure to pay over $9,000 in past due child support. This was the 2nd contempt that the ex-wife filed against our client. Our client represented himself during the 1st case, and was found in contempt and jailed for 45 days. When he hired us for his 2nd contempt, we were able to prove that our client was not in willful contempt and the Court found in his favor.
