M. Ryan Mullis is a Senior Associate Attorney with Anene Farrey & Associates, LLC. She attended the University of Georgia where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Spanish. She went on to attend the University of Georgia School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor. Attorney Mullis was admitted as a licensed Attorney to the State Bar of Georgia in 2014.
Immediately upon graduating, she joined the law firm of King & Spalding in downtown Atlanta working on mass tort litigation cases. However, the corporate world was not her calling and she soon joined a small family law firm in Gainesville, GA. She has been practicing solely family law litigation for the last 5 years now, where she handles cases ranging from legitimations and child support to complex custody disputes and hotly contested divorces, just to name a few.
Attorney Mullis was drawn to the practice of law, and specifically family law, due to her own experiences with her parents’ divorce and being the child of parental alienation. She is just now reforming a bond with her Dad after not knowing him for 18 years. Attorney Mullis and her sister both specialize in parental alienation cases and have engaged in public speaking events to share their story with others who may be experiencing the same challenges. What clients love most about Attorney Mullis is not only her sweet and friendly personality but the empathy and passion that she brings to each of her clients’ cases. In her spare time, Attorney Mullis loves to dance. She is a competitive ballroom dancer (yes, just like on ‘Dancing with the Stars’!) and competes all over the country.
“Ryan is really an absolute dream to work with! She is there to help you every step of the way. So feel free to pick her brain and ask questions. No matter what, she will have the right solution to suit you. -Quianna”
“When my ex ended talks of modification without involving lawyers, my wife and I immediately made a call to Ryan, whom we had met the year prior with modification questions. We left the meeting with a positive outlook on the process, appropriate compromises mapped out, and hopeful that this situation would end with the children’s best interests met.
We liked the way Ryan structured her fees. Rather than an hourly rate she gave a total estimated cost for our scenario with the understanding that if additional legal action were necessary a new and separate contract would be negotiated. She was easy to contact via phone and email. Always willing to answer our questions. I also appreciated her direct and sometimes tough-to-swallow advice. Ultimately, we are happy with Ryan’s hand in making a new parenting plan workable for our growing family.”
“I went into this process knowing nothing and feeling like I wasn’t going to get the end result I needed and I didn’t know what to expect. I was blessed to have Ryan on my side throughout all of this! She made the already hard process painless and explained everything I asked in common terms so I could understand! Ryan went above and beyond my expectations and made sure I was aware of everything that was happening. She always consulted me if she had a question about what I meant and she was always there for me when I needed to ask something! I can assure you that if you’re looking for a trustworthy lawyer that will put your needs first there is no one better than Ryan!”
